My name is Leslee, and I am a certified birth doula and a certified lactation counselor. I have lived in Tallahassee for over a decade and am both an FSU alumna and employee. I started Bold Birth after giving birth to my daughter with the hopes that increasing my visibility as a doula and lactation counselor could help me stay at home with her. I am also a founding member and Co-President of the Tallahassee Doula Co-Op.
I attended my first birth in 2005, and immediately knew I was where I wanted to be. I love serving women and their families during the birth process. My favorite part of being a doula is witnessing the birth of a new family - the smile on a new mother's face, and a hug from a new father are two things I look forward to the most.
